lion & lamb
Opened September 2025 · 26 Bree Street, Cape Town
a daily practice

Lion & Lamb was the world's first space of its kind: three floors, under one roof, built entirely around men's daily practice and community.
Men's wellbeing is overlooked. Lion & Lamb was built on the belief that it shouldn't be — that men need somewhere to go, regularly, with other men, to do the work of regulating themselves and returning to their lives better for it.
It isn't a month in the year that we should try to help men. It's a daily practice. That's what builds real change. Not a gym. A practice space.
What happened here:
Movement and mobility. Strength and kettlebells. Capoeira. Breathwork. Meditation. Acro-flow and embodiment. Ice baths and infrared sauna. A coffee lounge where conversations ran long. Men's gatherings. And First Thursdays, open to everyone.
Daily practice, held in common.

What it proved:
That men will show up. That discipline and softness belong in the same room. That a man who can regulate himself changes the temperature of everything around him; his home, his work, the people who depend on him.
The Bree Street Premises is closed. The Practice never ends.
